Introduction

The Department of Nuclear, Subnuclear and radiation physics, DFNSR, was born in 2015 with Rector decree n.2. The aim of the department is to promote applied researches in high energy and physics. Department activity include studies, both theoretical and experimental, on fundamental radiation-matter interaction in collaboration with International Laboratories like: Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory of Chicago, CERN and with strong collaboration with Laboratori di Frascati and Sezione di Napoli of the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics, INFN.

The members of DFNSR collaborate with various experiments for the data acquisition and data analysis and also for the project of novel detectors in high energy field.

Concerning Radiation Physics research, a strong collaboration with DFNSR and ENEA in course for the study of biological effects of radiation.

Members of the department are Full professors, Associate Professors and researchers with important International Curricula.
