Mu2e experiment at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory
The aim of the experiment is the search for coherent conversion of muon into electron, neutrino less, in the nucleus field. This decay, never observed before, should be a clear signal of physics beyond standard model.
KLOE-2 Experiment at Frascati Laboratories of INFN
The new proposed optics for DAFNE collider permits an increasing of the luminosity of a factor 5. Thanks to this improvement, the new KLOE-2 collaboration restarted in 2014 a new data taking period to conclude the physical program of the KLOE experiment, opening scenario also for new precision measurements.
NA62 experiment at CERN
The aim of the experiment is a precision measurement of the very rare decay K+–>p+n n(bar) using 400 GeV proton beam from SPS. Precision measurements of rare kaon decays permit important test of the Standard Model.
CMS experiment at CERN
The Large Hadron Collider, LHC, has a diameter of 27 Km and was designed to collide proton beams up to an energy of 14 TeV in the center of mass. CMS is one of the four experiments using LHC beams and its aims are the search of Higgs boson but also important test of Standard Model or beyond Standard Model measurements.
Radiation Biology and oncology section:
Study of the effects of radiation in mouse
The aim of this experiment, in collaboration with Radiation Biology and Biomedicine Laboratory of ENEA, is the study “in vivo” of the effects non cancer and non targeted of the ionizing radiations.
